Generate graphic images/illustrations, interactive presentations, Flash files, sound, and video into multimedia programs for use on the Web or CD/DVD. Manage and uphold the visual brand, design direction, and identity standards for all clients. Recommend emerging trends and best practices in design to support continuing evolution of all creative. Attend periodic production meetings in San Jose. Manage print production. This position is a contract position to begin, with potential to become full-time and/or permanent in the future. The time-scale for the position becoming permanent depends on workload in the company and performance of the contractor. The ideal candidate will be a creative and resourceful team player who can think conceptually and execute to specification. Attention to detail and ability to work independently are musts. Qualifications: Ability to plan, design, and implement creative concepts. Proven experience creating and producing integrated communications from start to finish. Knowledge of print production process and ability to troubleshoot on press. Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects within tight deadlines. Proficiency in PowerPoint, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign (Flash, Dreamweaver, and HTML are plusses). Ability to collaborate with cross-functional team members in a virtual work environment. Ability/willingness to commute to San Jose as needed.
