Job Description



The purpose of mystery shoppers is to help businesses increase sales by assisting in improving customer service awareness. Our services provide businesses with an unbiased opinion of how they are perceived by their customers. We search for, hire, train, and compensate the shoppers; prepare, mail out, and receive information; and tabulate and analyze the results.

You must have access to a computer. All shops are posted for, applied for, scheduled and completed online. Shoppers are required to provide documentation or proof of a shop, so you need to have access to a digital camera or scanner. The necessary documentation will be outlined in the guidelines of the shop and could be in the form of a business card, paperwork provided by an employee, a receipt for a purchase, and/or a copy of a ticket provided by the client. This documentation must be uploaded to the survey form. Shoppers must not falsify any data on a report, or make up information solely to submit a survey form for payment. If a shopper is found to have falsified a report in any way, found to have altered a receipt for any purpose (including date, time, or location address), or found to complete an assignment while under the influence of illegal drugs or alcohol, the shopper will be deactivated immediately, will no longer be considered for any shopping assignments and forfeit any pay or reimbursements. Each shop pays a different fee, and it is based on what the shop requires to complete it. Shop payment will go out at the end of the following month that a shop is completed. For example, if you do a shop in March the check will be written at the end of April and go in the mail no later than May 1st. Shoppers are paid by check.
