Successful candidates will: identify and close new business; perform outbound prospecting on supplied leads; make a high volume of cold calls daily, generating new outbound prospecting opportunities; focus primarily on Purchasing and MIS Departments selling hosting, web development, network infrastructure and other IT related hardware and services. be talking with to "C" and "VP" level regarding high ticket solutions as well as entry level web development prospects; be making cold calls daily to advance the pipeline. The territory is wide open, no restrictions; virtual office; weekly teleconferencing sales team meetings; quarterly face to face sales team meetings.
The ideal candidate will have a business development background as well as experience in providing service and support contracts; have current contacts which will translate into sales; have the ability to communicate effectively the relationship of technology to business needs and to work closely with a team in a competitive start-up environment. Individuals must be adept in standard computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, Web, ACT); will also have excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills, strong attention to detail and organization skills, and follow up and professional level sales persistence. Individuals should have a minimum of two years experience in technical sales position, preferably in IT and related to ISP/Web hosting industry.
