Virtual Administrative Assistant. I am looking for a part-time bookkeeper/virtual assistant about 3 hours a week. I run a small nonprofit organization on a very small budget, and we need a person to handle our books, process our small payroll, handle some government forms, and handle a small number of administrative items. Our current bookkeeper is based in Arizona and we have wanted for a while to have a person in Sarasota handle the bookkeeping so we do not have to mail items, but we did not want to fire her and have been waiting to find ideal timing. She recently has become more busy, and can only handle the bookkeeping and not the admin items, and said she would get it if we wanted to use someone else who could do both. We were paying her $11 an hour and would like to do $10 to $12 for the next person. We might consider $13 or $14.

Experience with bookkeeping and Quickbooks is required. Attention to detail, thoroughness and responsibility are important. It is likely you can do nearly all of this virtually and simply drop off and pick up items once a week. We normally have 3/4 of the bills sent to the bookeepers address. If you respond, please let me what skill level you have with Quickbooks, and how much you would charge.
