Job Description



Virtual Administrative Assistant. Government Contractor offering immediate position to work with Government Agency: Full time. May work from home. Work directly with Onsite Executive. Job Duties: Assist in preparing meeting (Agency and any subcommittees) agenda and conference call documentation, and notify participants of meeting times and locations. Perform all meeting logistics support, including: Select Hotel sites. Negotiate government lodging rate. Research room rental prices and select meeting spaces. Coordinate audio / visual requirements. Coordinate food and beverage support Coordinate conference call logistics (e.g. call-in numbers, teleconferencing equipment, etc.). Handle lodging, travel, and per diem reimbursements for all Agency members. Prepare all meeting documentation and reports. Assist in providing technical assistance in the development and preparation of briefing slides, charts, briefing books, talking points, and information and decision papers which identify major issues addressed, actions assigned, and any outstanding issues requiring review. Assist in providing public visibility to Committee proceedings and assist the Agency and any Subcommittees in responding to public inquiries, congressional inquiries, and other policy related work. Assist in providing a point of contact to facilitate communications with the agency and its Subcommittee members in the conduct of their activities. Assist in refining and executing selection criteria (as relayed by the Agency Administrator). Assist with the process for membership selection per guidance from the Agency. Assist with development of outreach strategy. Assist in conducting ongoing analysis and assessment of the program through strategic planning sessions and help set parameters and goals to achieve.Compensation: $33,000 - 35,700 annually.
