Administrative Assistant. Work At Home Part Time Administrative Assistant. This is an excellent permanent part time opportunity for an administrator looking to supplement his/her income while working at home with a flexible schedule for a local real estate agent. The assistant may complete many tasks during hours that are convenient for the assistant. Some tasks, however, must be completed during normal business hours. This is not a sales position. Duties are limited to those permitted by the Arizona Department of Real Estate for individuals without a real estate license. General Duties: The assistant will help the agent succeed by freeing up the agents time so the agent can focus on top priority tasks and generating additional clients. The assistants general duties include administrative support in the following areas: Complete monthly mailings and coordinate advertising. Enter and update data on agents web site and the Multiple Listing Service (MLS). Written and verbal customer service for clients, other agents, and vendors. Design forms in MS Word, Excel and Publisher. Special Projects and other duties as assigned. Complete broker requirements for homes listed for sale. Initial hourly wage of $10.00 and $100 per successfully closed transaction. Paid 20-hour vacation after one year of service. Compensation: Initial hourly wage of $10.00 and $100 per successfully closed transaction. Salary , Hours, Work Locations: The position averages 8-10 hrs/week. Sometimes there are slightly more hours, sometimes there are slightly less hours. There is always the possibility of additional hours on an as needed basis, and the average number of hours may increase in the future as the business grows. The initial training period requires weekly meetings at the agents office. After the training period, the primary work location will be the assistants home with shorter and less frequent meetings at the agents home/office.
Skill Set: Candidates must posses some combination of the skills listed below. Prior experience in real estate, lending, or title are a plus but is not required. All Candidates Must Posses: Self-Motivation to do the best job possible and personal pride in a job well done. Writing and verbal skills that allow the assistant to represent the agent in a professional and courteous manner to other agents, vendors, and clients. Computer and Internet literacy - MS Word, Excel, Outlook, database, contact management, and the ability to learn new programs quickly with minimal instruction. Other Useful Skill Include: Enjoy helping people. A desire to learn new things and a willingness to make suggestions for change. Understanding that the agents success is their success.
