Accountant. We are in need of a part-time accountant/administrator to help facilitate several things internally. This job is expected to pay $20/hr as a 1099 contractor. Hours are expected to range from 10-25 hours week (typically it will be about 70 hours/month). The preference is available during the work week and has the ability to work from home. They will also be able to manage their schedule so they are able to put in more hours during weeks of payroll. Responsibilities: Handle payroll twice monthly. We currently use a 3rd party payroll company, but must enter in the payments each pay period. Also be able to handle tranisitioning payroll in-house. Handle invoicing clients. Handle administrative duties that include gather receipts from contractors in the field. Potentially changing accounting system to make sure we are DCAA compliant. Requirements: Has any accounting background. A bachelors degree is strongly preferred, but not mandatory. Experience with QuickBooks or another accounting software for a minimum of three years.
