Calendars: These calendars to choose from: Theodore Roosevelt 1909 Calendar and Franklin Roosevelt 1937 Calendar. Each calendar is a miniature reproduction of the real thing. They are made of a printed cardstock background and the last three months of the year, printed on regular paper, that are glued to the front of the calendar. The calendars are about 1 inch x 1.5 inch in size and the little pages are about 0.5 inch x 0.315 inch. In a calendar kit, in addition to the other items provided, you will find the following: 3 sheets of printed miniature calendar cardstock backgrounds and a sheet of printed miniature calendar pages. The products we make vary in the amount of work it takes to make them. Many people ask for a simple product to start. People with some experience with miniatures or crafts often ask for more complicated products that we buy for more. People work from home at their own skill level. We have products that can be assembled by just about everyone. In general, the more work required to make the product the more we will buy it for. To say it another way, the amount we buy a product for is an indicator of the amount of time it takes to make the product. For example, kits that we buy for $50 take about half the time of kits that we buy for $100. Each of our work at home items comes as a kit. The kit contains everything needed to make the product including: assembly materials, detailed directions, any necessary tools, a payment request form (to get your money), an extra materials request form (to get free additional materials if you need them) and even a finished product sample (except for very new products). We do include extra materials beyond what you need to complete the kit, in case you make a few mistakes. The only thing not included in a kit is a stapler and staples that are used to close the little plastic bags that each finished item is put in. The instructions explain, step by step, how to assemble the materials, using the tools, into the final product. Each kit is designed to make a set of the product. A set is a certain number of finished items that we buy. Our products are assembled in sets of 20, 50, or 100 items, depending upon the product. Each item may have one or more pieces that are placed in the little plastic bags when the item is finished. For example, there are 4 pieces that go into each bag of the Chinese Take Out Set product. There is one piece that goes into each bag of most of the book products. The detailed descriptions of the products tell how many pieces go in the bag for each product. Each kit has extra materials to allow you to learn to make the product and in case you make mistakes. If you run out of materials before completing a set, then you can send in the Extra Materials Request Form, which is included with every kit, and we will send you additional materials, free of charge, to use to complete the set. To be sure you are making the product correctly, you will send us a sample of the product you are making. We will check your sample and tell you if there are any problems so that you will not be wasting your time making the whole set incorrectly. The samples are returned to you after they are checked. We include a letter that tells you that the sample was made correctly or that it needs changes to be made. You do not have to wait for Tiny Details to examine the sample to continue working but, if changes are called for, you may have to fix some of the items you already made. There is a $55 fully refundable deposit for the kit and an optional $5.99 non-refundable fee if you would like Priority Mail used to send your kit. It takes us 2-3 days to process kit orders and put them into the mail. We normally send kits by First Class mail which takes from 1 to 9 days to get anywhere in the USA. The $5.99 Priority Mail option makes the shipping time 1-3 days according to the post office, once they are in the mail. The box the kit comes in is about the size of a book, so it generally fits in most mail boxes and you will not have to make a trip to the post office to get it! Here is a simple explanation of how home assembly for Tiny Details works: You choose a product that fits you.You send us a $55 deposit for the materials. We send you a kit that contains everything you need to make a set of the product you picked. You assemble a set of the product. You send the completed set of the product to us. We send you back your $55 deposit PLUS the product price ($50 to $200) PLUS your postage for sending the product to us.

Victorian Calling Cards: Dollhouse miniature reproductions of ten Victorian era calling cards. The cards are all the same size ... about 0.44 inch by 0.25 inch. Two of the cards have eight small triangular cuts along the border to facilitate corner folding. Two of the cards have rounded corners. These cards were left at a persons house by a caller and would have the corner of the card folded to indicate the purpose of the visit: Friendly, Condolence or Congratulatory. Each bag of calling cards has one of each of the ten cards and a small sheet that explains the meanings of a folded corner. There is no folding and no gluing for this kit! In the Victorian Calling Cards kit, in addition to the other items provided, you will find the following: 3 sheets of printed miniature calling cards (with 144 sets of cards on them) and 6 sheets of printed explanation sheets (with 120 explanation sheets on them). The products we make vary in the amount of work it takes to make them. Many people ask for a simple product to start. Silverware Chests: Dollhouse miniature of a lovely silverware chest with a working drawer. The interior is lined with velvet and beautiful edging. The chest measures about an inch wide and an inch deep. Despite being shown with dividers in the top of the chests, we are no longer asking assemblers to do this. The inside of the chests will not have the four dividers shown. This makes the kit easier to make. Unlike most other kits, the Silverware Chests are not placed in plastic bags when completed and a stapler and staples are not required. For both of these products, a pair of wire cutters is required and not supplied. In the Silverware Chest kits, in addition to the other items provided, you will find the following: velvet lining material, edging for the velvet, sand paper for smoothing the parts and sheets of wood. Spiral Notebook Set: Reproduction of a scholastic notebook and a steno pad. Both of them are spiral bound. The notebook is about an inch tall and 3/4 of an inch wide. The steno pad is about half that size. The parts of this set are not available separately. This kit is more difficult than other kits and is not suggested for beginners. That is why we are paying $4 per bag! The notebook and steno pad are both made by cutting out the covers and six inside sheets of paper. The covers are made from a light cardstock and the inside sheets are made from regular paper. The spiral binding is made from wire that is supplied. It is wound around a pin (that is also supplied) to get it to be the right size and then it is threaded through the holes in the covers and inside sheets. Though not required, a small pair of wire cutters makes assembly of this kit easier. In addition to the other items provided, you will find the following in this kit: sheets of notebook and steno pad cover (enough to make about 60 of each), sheets of notebook and steno pad inside pages (enough to make about 60 of the insides of each) and 2-3 yards of wire.

Tinsel Box (gold): Miniature of a box of Christmas tinsel when a box cost 5 cents! The box is made by cutting it out from a sheet that has them printed on it, folding it and gluing it to keep it shut. A few pieces of tinsel are glued inside the box before it is glued shut. The finished box measures about 0.5 inch wide x 1.0 inch height x 0.1 inch diameter. We are also sometimes sending out silver and green tinsel boxes, too. We will send the color that we need! In the Tinsel Box kit, in addition to the other items provided, you will find the following: 3 sheet of printed miniature Tinsel Boxes (enough to make 105 boxes) and several strips of gold tinsel material. All the products above must be completed according to our standards. Our quality control personnel will check for size, shape and quality when you send in your completed sample. Then a payment of $160.00 for each unit completed and accepted, plus $5.00 for shipping will be sent to you within five working days! We must currently limit our producers to four units per week, totaling $640.00 per project. That is right, you can earn up to $640.00 a week! How to Begin: Print out the Supplier/Purchaser Agreement and Order Form located on our website and mail, fax, or email it back to us for your starter kit. Each kit includes a pattern, fabrics and a complete set of instructions for product assembly and for obtaining supplies. This package is designed to show you how to make one product correctly and to our standards. The cost of your beginners package is $29.95 (plus $8.95 shipping and handling) which defrays the cost of advertising, accounting, processing and materials. Assembling products and making crafts do not require any formal education or professional experience. Applicants need to be good at working with their hands. They must love working with crafts or sewing. Craft companies hire remote employees to perform their craft assembly and craft work to avoid extra overhead costs. These companies have found that it is more economical for them to hire people like you, to perform their product assembly and craft work. This way they avoid the high costs of huge assembly plants and the high costs of employing a large work force.

Large Spiral Notebooks with Designs: A reproduction of a scholastic notebook with various designs on the front cover. This kit is more difficult than other kits and is not suggested for beginners. That is why we are paying $2 per notebook! This kit is similar to our other spiral notebook SET, but there is no steno pad in this kit. You only make the larger notebooks. The notebook is made by cutting out the covers and six inside sheets of paper. The covers are made from a light cardstock and the inside sheets are made from regular paper. The spiral binding is made from wire that is supplied. It is wound around a nail (that is also supplied) to get it to be the right size and then it is threaded through the holes in the covers and inside sheets. Though not required, a small pair of wire cutters makes assembly of this kit easier. In addition to the other items provided, you will find the following in this kit: sheets of notebook covers (enough to make about 120 of each) and sheets of notebook inside pages (enough to make about 120 of the insides of each) 2-3 yards of wire.

Memo and Journal Book Kit: Makes several different memo and journal books. They differ only by what is printed on the cover. Each kit comes with an assortment of covers like the ones shown. The memo and journal books are the same size as our regular books but have blank pages inside and do not have a dust jacket. The cardstock covers of the memo and journal books are a double-thickness which is made by cutting them out, folding them to get the double-thickness and gluing them in place. The finished books measure about 0.8 inch in height and half an inch across. The inside pages of the memo and journal books are made the same way. In each memo and journal book kit, in addition to the other items provided, you will find the following: 2 sheets of miniature covers and 4 sheets of miniature interior blank paper pages. Half Scale (1/24 scale) Books: Reproduction of miniature books in half scale. These are the same sort of books that we make in 1/12 scale, located above for assemblers to make. However, these are smaller. These books are 1/24 scale, commonly called half scale in the miniatures industry as the common miniatures scale is 1/12 scale. Many people say these books are actually easier to assemble because although they do have printed text inside, the text is small enough that is not legible and is very forgiving in assembly. Just as with our 1/12 scale books available for assembly, the books are made by cutting, folding, and inserting printed pages into a cardstock cover. A dust jacket is then cut out and put over the book, creating an illusion of a hardcover book. Unlike the larger 1/12 scale books, our half scale books are just under 1/2 inch tall. Because of the smaller size, the half scale books pay more than the 1/12 scale books. Also, as these are very new items for us, we choose the title that we send to be assembled. In addition to the other items provided, you will find the following in this kit: sheets of printed book pages (enough to make about 120 books), sheets of printed dust jackets (enough to make about 120 of the insides of each) and printed sheet of cardstock book covers (enough to make about 120 of the of each). The products we make vary in the amount of work it takes to make them. Many people ask for a simple product to start. There is a bottom for each pad that is made out of cardstock. The pads are about 4/10 inch square. We will choose the color for you. In the Notepad kit, in addition to the other items provided, you will find the following that can make 120 notepads: 8 sheets of printed miniature notepad pages and a sheet of printed miniature notepad bottoms.

Miniature Books: The finished books measure about 0.8 inch in height and half an inch across. Please note that there are many, many more titles of books than the ones that we have on display. We always need miniature books, these are a great kit to make! In each book kit, in addition to the other items provided, you will find the following: 1 sheet of printed miniature covers, 2 sheets of printed miniature dust jackets and 4 sheets of printed miniature interior paper pages. Magazine Racks: Miniature Magazine Rack. It is the kind of rack that you would see by the side of an easy chair in the living room. They are made out of thin wood parts that are cut from the sheets provided and glued together. The Magazine Racks are about 1.25 inch x 1.25 inch x 0.88 inch. Unlike most other kits, the Magazine Racks are not placed in plastic bags when completed and a stapler and staples are not required. In the Magazine Rack kit, in addition to the other items provided, you will find the following: sand paper for smoothing the parts and sheets of wood.
