Check out our current openings below and at www.siriusxm.com/careers.Position Summary: Development and maintenance support for terrestrial repeater hardware and related equipment.Duties and Responsibilities: Assemble and test repeater hardware systems and related equipment components. Troubleshoot and repair equipment and systems. Calibrate, update FW and SW. Perform various related duties including maintaining inventory, test and calibration records.Supervisory Responsibilities: This a complimentary role to assist with supervision of tasks and projects.Minimum Qualifications: Associate degree or equivalent, relevant experience. 5+ years’ experience in the maintenance and repair of communication systemsRequirements and General Skills: Interpersonal skills and ability to interact and work with staff at all levels.Ability to work independently and in a team environment.A self-sufficient person who can be spontaneous in response to changing needs.Ability to pay attention to details and be organized.Ability to project professionalism over the phone and in person.Commitment to “internal client” and customer service principles.Willingness to take initiative and to follow through on projects.Must have legal right to work in the U.S.Technical Skills: Knowledge of radio and electronics theory and troubleshooting techniques for communications systems.Ability to use test and calibration equipment to sample, audit performance and diagnose defects in radio systems.Use personal computers to interface with repeater equipment, record or trend data output and interpret results.Communicate with engineering, management, peers and vendors in person, by email or telephone to support programs.Our goal at SiriusXM+Pandora is to provide and maintain a work environment that fosters mutual respect, professionalism and cooperation.
