Fiber Management coordinator Our client is looking for a NOC Tech to work remotely and in their Miami location. This is a great opportunity to work for a cutting edge company with a National Fiber network. As the NOC Tech you will be help coordinate and or manage Fiber maintenance and troubleshooting for our client’s customers. Typically this will include notifications of scheduled maintenance and other network events. In addition, you the go between to determine what type of trouble ticket to open, who to route it to and understand what the issue is on the customer network and our client’s fiber network. Previous experience working with Fiber/Telecom networks and utilizing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Network Management Systems tools in a network troubleshooting/coordination /resolution role is a huge plus. NetCool experience is preferred. Key Skills: Fiber, OSP, CATV, Maintenance Coordination, Alarm Monitoring, Network troubleshooting / coordination, CRM, SONET, IP protocols and routing, Layer 2 switching, WDM, Dark Fiber services, OTDR testing, Network Operations/ NOC experience with NetCool, Juniper, Nortel and Cisco router experience is ideal.TekCom Resources, Inc. is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and values diversity.
