LMS Aministrator/Developer

LMS AdministratorDeveloper Overview The LMS Administrator will join a team of 60 purpose-driven staff members in a friendly, focused, fast-paced entrepreneurial office environment. We are the largest collegiate leadership honor society in the United States, with over 700 chapters and more than one million members, who collectively have completed over 282,000 hours of community service. The LMS Administrator builds, manages and supports the function and operation of the organizationrsquos learning management system (Moodle) which is used to deliver courses to student members. The ideal candidate will have specific experience and knowledge of both building and managing the Moodle learning management system along with its range of technical capabilities. Primary functions will include building the Moodle ecosystem, troubleshooting learner issues, help desk support, training, and management of events in the Moodle-based LMS, as well as reporting on LMS activities. The LMS AdministratorDevelopers reports directly to Vice President of Technology. Opportunities to make an impact Development of the Moodle ecosystem Develop and integrate third-party apps into Moodle Build the ecosystem using plug-ins Serves as the primary administrator for the Moodle-based Provides Tier 2 support for LMS Help Desk. Serves as SME for Moodle-based LMS with an ability to investigate, evaluate and implement appropriate new functions (theme installation, scripting, ) Creation and management of monthly events, creation of position-specific training tracks, learning activities and assessments in the Moodle-based Coordinates with LMS Support Specialist in the creation and maintenance of Adobe Connect Creates, analyzes and makes recommendations based on LMS report Provides regular quality control of all facets of the LMS in conjunction with the education department.
